Dr. Sankalp Sharma is a senior cardiologist who runs his own clinic under the name of SANKALP HEART CARE at sector 82 Mohali in collaboration with Bhor Diagnostic Center. He is also working at Shalby Hospital Mohali where he attends OPD patients and does cardiac interventional procedures. He has extensive experience and knowledge in clinical and Interventional Cardiology. He has immense expertise in Coronary as well as peripheral angioplasties like arm and leg arteries, kidney and neck vessel Angioplasties. He is also an expert in managing electrical disturbances of the heart e.g. atrial or ventricular arrhythmias or heart blocks. He has treated hundreds of patients with heart failure with medical therapy. He has done multiple Pacemaker Implantations and Implantable Cardiac Defibrillators. Dr. Sharma completed his MBBS with the certificate of honor from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in 2007. He is a diplomat of the national board in general medicine from new Delhi. Having such vast experience Dr. Sankalp Sharma served at Maharaja Agrasen Hospital, New Delhi for a few years. He has done super specialization in Cardiology from the esteemed institute of Cardiology at Fortis Hospital Mohali and continued with his training in advanced Interventional Cardiology. He then joined Civil Hospital Panchkula followed by Paras Hospital Panchkula Presently, he is working as a senior consultant Cardiologist with Shalby Hospital Mohali.
