Introduction to RPA:
Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is a form of business process automation that allows anyone to define a set of instructions for a robot or "bot" to perform. In other words, RPA is an application of technology, governed by business logic and structured inputs, aimed at automating business processes. Using RPA tools, an organization can configure software, or a "robot," to capture and interpret applications for processing a transaction, manipulating data, triggering responses, and communicating with other digital systems. RPA scenarios range from something as simple as generating an automatic response to an email to deploying thousands of bots, each programmed to automate jobs for different tasks.
History of Robotic Process Automation:
RPA around the world was quiet and unclear as there were many technologies yet to be invented to make up for RPA. One of those technologies was the invention of Machine Learning. Machine Learning was an essential phenomenon in helping computers adapt to learning from each operation performed, which led to Artificial Intelligence development.
For computers to perform a significant role, it was necessary that computers could understand and process the human language, which further led to the development of Natural Language Processing (NLP). Artificial Intelligence was used as a bridge between computers and humans to aid computers with Natural Language Processing. It was a combination of these technologies that would later lead up to the invention of Robotic Process Automation, which would change the way of processing information.
