Responsibility of An Cabin Crew
A Cabin Crew has many responsibilities on a plane. The cabin crew typically do the following tasks:
Greets the passengers and guides them to settle down in their seats.
attending a pre-flight briefing.
Answering passenger questions during the flight.
Serving meals and refreshments to passengers.
Prepares flight reports.
Provides medical care to the passengers if needed.
Selection procedures
The selection process for the Cabin Crew course comprises of three stages – Written Examination, Group discussion (GD), and Interview.
The Written Examination comprises of questions to test candidates’ intelligence, reasoning skills, numerical ability, and general awareness.
Candidates who qualify the written examination are called for the GD round. Communication skills, teamwork qualities, and patience level are tested in this round.
Interview round is conducted for the final selection of the candidates. It analyses your personality and passion to work in the Aviation industry.
This is the general; selection process. Some institutes might have variations in the selection process. All the recognized Cabin Crew training institutes operate as per the guidelines of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). And, as per the DGCA guidelines, candidates will become eligible for admission only after qualifying a written test and interview session.
Candidates who get through the selection process are required to undergo a training of minimum 6 months (the training duration might vary) before beginning the career as an Cabin Crew
