Golden Temple is located in Amritsar in Punjab.It is 347.6 km far from Haryana. We took car to travel and ride 6 hr 34 min to reach the Amritsar. There is a lot of things in Punjab for travel like Rose garden in Chandigarh, Jallianwala bagh but one of the best place is GOLDEN TEMPLE.

As we all know that the Golden Temple is built with gold and also known as swarn mandir or Darbar Sahib or Harminder Sahib. It is holiest place of Sikh. This temple welcomes everyone that doesn'nt matter in which caste, race, religion you belong. They welcome all which their open arms. There is a ritual that you have to cover your head, it is compulsory for both men and women even for kids also. And short dresses or off shoulder dresses are not allowed you have to wear long dresses. Shoes are removed before entering in the temple. There is small pond in which you have to clean your feet, then you enter inside.

The Golden Temple is very clean and we can do any work without any hesitation like dish washing, moping , cleaning or taking care of shoes. The Langer services will be held 24 hour. The Golden Temple dining hall feed around 100,000 a people a day from free kitchen that is run by volunteers.





The crowed was thick but orderly and after the several hours we finally made our way to enter the temple.

Holy tank is also constructed where men can bathe openly and there is private area for women. It is holy water where people wash their sins and keeps illness away.
We learned their to be a little quite to concentrate on our prayer. Its my personal experience I feel very peace there.
