TRAVEL PLANNING TIPS
Making an editorial schedule is one of the first things I usually concentrate on as a blogger. It aids in my content planning and helps me maintain focus. The trip calendar, on the other hand, is a calendar that is more significant than the editorial calendar. These travels provide the material for my editorial. You must first schedule all of your trips for the upcoming year. It is personally one of the most difficult and interesting aspects of becoming a travel writer for me. Despite the impression that we are constantly on the road, like a remote employee, there is a lot of preparation that goes beyond my trips.

Set a trip budget first.
This, in my opinion, is the most critical part of planning. I want to visit every destination on my wishlist as a traveler, but it is not always feasible. In an ideal world, I would start with a travel budget and divide it between domestic and overseas travels. The budget is solely dependent upon your income. Since blogging is a business and I see travel as an investment, I often decide to put at least 50% of my revenues back into travel.

Plan your trip for the off-season.
When it comes to vacation planning, this is one of my all-time favorite travel tips. Plan your travels at off-peak times or right before the tourist season. Every place has a high season and a low season, whether you are traveling inside India or abroad. The off-season is a fantastic time to travel, in my opinion. For instance, I won't go to Switzerland in May since it would resemble a scene from a Yash Chopra film. When I visited Croatia, I was informed that the country's prime tourist month of August had become too crowded. In the off-season, a lot of places in India are also highly alluring, including Sikkim.

The Travel Bucket List
In my journal, I have a never-ending list of places to see and things to do. I select at least one of them from this wishlist each year. According to your budget, you may select whatever you like, and if you have the chance to visit them on FAM trips, you can cross them off your list.

Travel to discover stories
Always in search of fresh content. To me, traveling is about more than simply the sights and sounds, and travel writing is not just about writing lists. Before a vacation, there was a time when I would study practically every place. Over time, it went misplaced between a number of excursions that were either assignments or Pleasure vacations. I'm not complaining, but I did understand that I didn't have enough time to organize my own journey. This is the first time I've really planned trips with the intention of attending trade shows for the tourism industry. The main goals of this are to invest and learn more about the blogging industry. There are many events that are focused on travel both in India and overseas, and if you believe that attending these events would help you grow your business, you should put them on your schedule. Some of these events are even centered on blogging, and more particularly, travel blogging, so if you have the funds, you may invest in these trips.

Fantastic Trip locations
Each and every one desires this. To obtain as many paid trips as you can so that you can travel continually is the ultimate goal in life. Being asked for a Conference and being recognised as an influencer and storyteller are wonderful feelings. Either use, however, are business trips, so they are not truly free. However, I am quite picky and only choose a small number of these FAM excursions. A campaign or task would be preferable to just another FAM vacation for me, especially if it is paid.

Explore your own neighborhood
These trips are among my favorites. On weekends or while looking for stories, I enjoy exploring my own backyard. These trips are perfect for when your travel fund runs out but you still have a strong desire to go. Last year, almost all of my travels were local.

To get away, travel
I have finally started doing this on purpose. I go on trips to get away from my daily grind, unplug from work, and disappear. When traveling turns into work, you forget that you also need time off. The urge for a calm trip is now even greater since social media is so intrusive.
