My Free Firewood is a new web-based service that connects firewood users to tree services and landscapers to facilitate the transfer of free wood. Essentially in exchange for providing the free labor to rid tree services and landscapers of excess wood, subscribers can obtain free wood. There is no on-going charge for the wood, only an annual subscription fee of $25 (summer seasonal discount of 50% off the normal price of $50). This subscription fee covers our cost for maintaining and enhancing the service. For this annual subscription fee you will obtain the following:

One guaranteed cord of wood during the enrollment year, and almost always available upon joining

Periodic notifications when free wood is available in your area on a first-come, first-service basis.
